Project description:Public Spaces Protection Orders provide the council with a wide range of flexible powers to help tackle antisocial behaviour locally.

Project description:We are bringing new life to Ethelbert Crescent in Margate, with a new state-of-the-art skatepark. The aim is to create a safe space for the community that the whole town can be proud of.

Project description:Our Tenant Management Policy applies to everyone living in council-owned homes. We are inviting people living in housing owned by the council to give their views on the proposed changes.

Project description:We have received £1.5 million of government funding through the Pride in Place Impact Fund. The aim is to deliver immediate and visible improvements across the district by March 2027.

Project description:We propose to use 38-40 Grosvenor Place in Margate as self-contained temporary accommodation for eleven one-bedroom flats, to be used as temporary accommodation. Local people are invited to share their feedback.

Let’s work together to make Thanet better
Your Voice Thanet is a way to bring together all the individuals, local organisations and businesses who want to make Thanet a great place to live and work. We want to involve as many people as possible in this and connect them so that we work collaboratively and collectively. This online platform helps us to do this.
You can find information about some of the different projects the council is working on. You can follow their progress and get involved. You may want to comment on the ideas you see or be inspired by the ideas other people have had.
