During this Stage, Thanet Councils' Housing Projects Team will submit a full planning application consisting of the final developed design proposals. The statutory period for an application to be determined is 13 weeks. This application will be taken to Thanet Council's Planning Committee for determination.

Once Thanet Councils' Planning Team has received the planning application, it will undertake a period of consultation where views on the proposed development can be expressed. The formal consultation period will normally last for 21 days, and the local planning authority will identify and consult a number of different groups. During this period, residents will have the opportunity to submit messages of support and objections.
