Tenant Management Policy
Our Tenant Management Policy applies to everyone living in council-owned homes. It covers:
- The different kinds of tenancies available
- How we decide on the type of tenancy to grant
- The length of a tenancy
- How we manage the end of a tenancy, including offering a new one
The policy is being updated, and the new draft policy includes several proposed changes.
We are now asking for feedback on the proposed changes to the draft Tenancy Management Policy. People living in housing owned by the council are invited to give their views on the proposed changes.
You can share your feedback between Monday 11 May and Monday 22 June 2026.
