Royal Crescent Refurbishment Project
Royal Crescent is a Grade II listed building in Ramsgate.
Thanet District Council owns and manages two sections; 4-15 and 19-23 Royal Crescent as part of its social housing stock.
The refurbishment project will address critical repair work that is needed to support the integrity of the building and keep residents safe.
We expect the work to take ten to twelve months to complete. Whilst every effort will be made to work to this timeframe, it could be subject to change.
Our priority is to keep residents informed throughout the process and give them the opportunity to give us feedback.
Phases
May - End of refurbishment and residents’ feedback
The refurbishment work took 6 weeks longer than expected due to some bad weather over the winter months. We plan to remove the last of the fencing, storage facilities and make good the lawn area on the week starting Monday 11 May 2026.

Lunch on the lawn, provided by SER. As a thank you SER Contractor is providing lunch on the lawn for Royal Crescent residents on Tuesday 12 May 2026 from 12pm to 2pm.
