Residents' Survey 2025
We conduct an in-depth residents' survey every year. The information we receive helps us to know what things matter most to the people that live and work in Thanet and to focus on those things.
This year, the survey is open to 7,000 households selected at random. We send out a postcard with a unique reference number, to invite them to take part. If you have a postcard please visit thanet.gov.uk/residents-survey/
Residents who don't receive a postcard can complete an 'open' survey, here on Your Voice Thanet.

Open Survey: 'What's Your View?'
We conduct an in-depth residents' survey every year. The information we receive helps us to know what things matter most to the people that live and work in Thanet and to focus on those things.
This year, the survey is open to 7,000 households selected at random, and we send them a postcard with a unique reference number, to invite them to take part. If you have a postcard please visit thanet.gov.uk/residents-survey/
If you don't receive a postcard with a unique code, this is your chance to share your views in the open survey.
The open survey aims to:
- Find out what you think about the council's services
- Allow local residents to give direct feedback
- Use the information gathered to check we're working on the things that matter
This open survey can be completed by anyone living in Thanet, aged 18 or over. It should take around 10 minutes to complete. All surveys should be completed by 5pm on Friday 5 December 2025.
