Margate Wayfinding Project

We are leading a new wayfinding project to review the existing signs between Margate town centre, Cliftonville and the coastline.

We want to make it super easy for everyone to find their way around Margate, whether walking, riding a bike, or using a scooter or wheelchair.

The project’s all about helping visitors and locals support our great businesses and enjoy everything Margate has to offer.

Please help us by completing this short survey as we look to improve our town’s wayfinding information.

This exciting project has been made possible thanks to funding secured from the UK Government.

During this phase, we will hold a number of drop-in sessions where local people and visitors can share their feedback on the design concepts

Feedback can be shared by completing a short online survey, before the closing date of Tuesday 8 September 2026.
