Margate Wayfinding Project

We are leading a new wayfinding project to review the existing signs between Margate town centre, Cliftonville and the coastline.

We want to make it super easy for everyone to find their way around Margate, whether walking, riding a bike, or using a scooter or wheelchair.

The project’s all about helping visitors and locals support our great businesses and enjoy everything Margate has to offer.

Please help us by completing this short survey as we look to improve our town’s wayfinding information.

This exciting project has been made possible thanks to funding secured from the UK Government.

You can learn more about the project on the council's website.

The concepts were presented at a workshop for Margate business owners on Tuesday 30 June 2026. Attendees were invited to share their feedback on the concept designs.
