Jackey Bakers Recreation Ground
Jackey Bakers Recreation Ground in Ramsgate is an important green space, well used by local people for organised sports, outdoor fitness, dog-walking and play.
Working in partnership with the Football Foundation, we hope to unlock up to £6million in grant funding to improve the facilities at Jackey Bakers.
Local people now have the opportunity to share their ideas on what improvements we should consider, via an online survey and community engagement events.
We want to understand what facilities and features people value most. These could be play areas, sports facilities, nature spaces, and accessibility improvements.
In addition to the general survey, there's also a special survey for younger people.

Sharing views on Jackey Bakers
During this phase, we're inviting local people to share their views on Jackey Bakers Recreation Ground in Ramsgate. This includes how they use the area now, and what they would like to see there in future.
In addition to an online survey, we’re holding a series of engagement events aimed at specific sections of the local community, including sports groups, community groups and young people.
