Dane Valley Arms, Margate
This council owned site has been identified for redevelopment to provide additional affordable housing.
The proposal is to build four family houses and a block of thirteen apartments (a mixture of one and two bed units) with associated landscaping and parking.
The redevelopment aims to regenerate the current site, adding to and enhancing the sustainable and cohesive community.
Phases
Construction
Construction works for the Dane Valley Arms development will commence in phases. Key dates are as follows:
1. Pre-site mobilisation (19th August 2024):
- Site clearance
- Erection of hoarding and hera fencing
- Utility connections
- Pre-commencement planning condition works
2. Formal start on site (14th October 2024):
- WW Martin begins main construction works
3. Project completion (27th February 2026)
The total construction programme is scheduled to last 71 weeks from the formal start date to completion.
