Clements Road, Ramsgate
Council owned land to the rear of Clement Place, Ramsgate has been identified for redevelopment to provide additional affordable housing to be aimed at older households (plus 55s).
The proposal is that we will reconfigure the existing hardstanding, parking area, stores and drying areas to provide a brand new block of nine accessible apartments.
There will also be improved landscaping and the creation of a communal garden area for the new build and existing Thanet District Council blocks at the site.
The redevelopment aims to regenerate the current site, adding to and enhancing the sustainable and cohesive community.
Phases
Construction
Construction works for the Clements Road development will commence in phases. Key dates are as follows:
1. Pre-site mobilization (19th August 2024):
- Site clearance
- Erection of hoarding and heras fencing
- Pre-commencement planning condition works
2. Formal start on site (23rd September 2024):
- WW Martin begins main construction works
3. Project completion (15th December 2025)
The total construction programme is scheduled to last 64 weeks from the formal start date to completion.
