Alcohol and Antisocial Behaviour PSPO

Thanet District Council is proposing to combine and renew the existing Alcohol and Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) Public Space Protection Orders (PSPO). The existing PSPOs expire in July 2024.

It is intended that the proposed new PSPO will include new restrictions and will cover the whole of Thanet. The existing ASB PSPO applies to Margate and Ramsgate.

If approved, the new restrictions will be in place for three years, from 2024 to 2027.

As part of the process, there is a statutory consultation to consult with the public before the new PSPO is approved and implemented.

You can read the proposed PSPO here.
