The loop bus route connects most of the key population centres and amenities in Thanet.
In an ideal world, the route would be served by fixed, light transport - see the tram services in small French cities. Given the UK funding and delivery of this type is rare, my suggestion is to transform the route to a fixed Busway + active transport infrastructure along as much of the route as possible.
This would provide active travel connections for most intra-Thanet trips.
It would improve the reliability and punctuality of the Loop for those not able or willing to travel actively.
The majority of the loop route is via wide urban corridors that could accomodate this - especially the westwood cross section.
