Pavement Parking

Strategic Priority 5 of the Local Plan requires TDC to deliver the infrastructure required to support existing communities and new development, in particular to promote development patterns and behaviour that will minimise the need to travel or use private cars to access services and amenities and to facilitate provision of direct walking and cycling routes to reduce potential congestion, noise and pollution.

A direct walking route is an existing pavement. To take away existing pavements from walkers for use by cars is in direct contravention of Strategic Priority 5 of the Local Plan (adopted). I object to pavement parking.
