More bicycle parking rails !

There are no parking rails in old town. One in the centre is surrounded by cafe tables and inaccessible. We have no designated spaces to leave bicycles when having a break. If we want to encourage people to cycle, there has to be a secure location for them to leave the bikes all over town

I wholeheartedly agree with this. It's incredibly difficult finding anywhere to lock up bikes in the town, other than quite far out by the Turner, or by annoying the restaurant owners. We fid it enormously difficult when cycling down with young children and trying to find somewhere to put our bikes. Considering the Viking coastal trail is advertised as a cycle trail, there are few facilities to support it.
