It's important when it comes into law enforce parking on pavements and dropped kerbs to keep clear for disabled residents and eyesight problems and families with children instead of going on to dangerous highways in towns more revenue for TDC as enforcement doesn't happen now wardens are not interested make use of CCTV cameras in margate.it will become a power for TDC not local police as they don't do anything about these important issues for residents hope this can solve there issues. I agree cars are parking on pave tents , give ways , corners, and these days no fines years ago you saw a person about giving fines now you do not see any at all. Not enough police to keep a eye on things either. Clements rd cars have killed about 6 cats . 2 of mine was l killed last month they speed about 60 and if killed just drive off

    The enforcement in Thanet is poor at best and needs to improve drastically. Drivers are parking all over the pavements, street corners, bus stops, zig zag lines and of course yellow lines with no fear of receiving a penalty. As a driver myself I hope TDC will get a grip on parking enforcement such as these issues.

    @T. McElligott Pavement parking is a big issue in Thanet without any enforcement. I spoke to two coppers in a car back in September last year and pointed out to them the 7 cars parked on the pavement behind them. This was at the entrance to Harts down park very close to the junction of All Saints Avenue and Tivoli road. The answer l received was not our job take a picture and send too the council. At this point l lost it a bit with them but my wife interveaned at this point to stop me ranting at them and they drove off. Not impressed one bit. Stephen Stoneham
