We know TDC needs the money from parking etc, but the towns also need the trade or just going to have ghost towns, make it first 2 hours free and no return to any free parking for the rest of the day.

Parking should remain free along The Parade in Minnis Bay as any charges will force visitors onto surrounding roads causing many problems for residents.

Free parking is the way forward for towns and businesses to survive .. I spend time abroad each year and can compare these two seaside resorts .. there are no parking restrictions or charges in D….. and the town and resort is bussing with shoppers and the business have survived even through covid years .. compare with Thanets resorts , the business struggle , Ramsgate is definitely not bussing with shoppers ..
