- The cost of parking has now made me stop using local shops in cliftonville and Broadstairs.
I now go to WWX. There has to be a way to offer local residents short term cheaper parking to encourage us to use the local businesses.
2. It is unfair that camper vans,mobile homes etc can park on the promenade at Walpole bay. Why are these visitors not charged for parking?

There was a TRO put in over a year ago to stop camper vans freely parking along the seafront in Cliftonville. Signs are up stating this is from 6.00pm - 6.00am. The lack of any enforcement means those regulations and signs are ignored.

I agree that the cost of parking made me stop using shops in Cliftonville. Sad for the shops who need sales and profits to pay for business rates.
Please stop those outdated meters and bring customers back to the local shops. TDC benefits financially because of the extra business rates collected instead of empty shops
