300k for evaluation?

To quote “The funding will be used to examine the structure of the building and to commission an evening and night time economy review and strategy for Thanet” - please can you elaborate?

Has anyone already been commissioned for this?

What is the timeline?

What are the action points to justify the 300k spend on just reviewing the needs - some of which we already know such as

1. immediate funding for maintenance and repairs of the building ,
2. leasing to local creatives / businesses who will offer continual community based events
3. TDC need to consider the long term benefits of these type of spaces for socio-economic benefits of the community and offer it to local bidders whilst scraping business rates and providing additional ongoing support (both financial and developmental)
