Round table discussion for businesses: Thanet's Evening and Night Time Economy

Since bookings were paused at the Winter Gardens, Thanet District Council has completed the structural survey work and the searches and studies needed to help make decisions about the venue’s future. The council has now appointed Counterculture (https://www.counterculturellp.com/) to help deliver a night time economy review and strategy for the district, and explore options for the future of the Winter Gardens.

There will be a series of in person community and business engagement sessions taking place w/c 24 April 2023 where we encourage people to drop in to see the Counterculture team.

Online surveys are also now live for businesses and community organisations to gather views on their role in Thanet’s night time economy and how it impacts them, the challenges and opportunities posed, and how together we can build an ambitious, inclusive vision for the Winter Gardens.
